What this is
StateWages (statewages.com) is a salary data site. This page explains what we collect and what we do with it. We don't sell your data. We don't run a mailing list you didn't sign up for.
Information you give us
If you use the contact form, we get your name and email. We use that only to reply. We don't add you to a newsletter or share that info with anyone else.
Information we get when you visit
Like most websites, we may collect basic technical data: IP address (often anonymized), browser type, which pages you looked at, how you got here. We use that to see how the site is used and fix problems. We're not building a profile on you to sell.
Cookies and advertising
We may use cookies for things like remembering preferences or understanding traffic. If we show ads on the site (for example through Google AdSense), those ads are served by the ad provider. They use their own cookies and may collect data according to their privacy policy. You can control or block cookies in your browser. The site isn't aimed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect personal information from them. If you think we have, contact us and we'll remove it.

We link to official sources (e.g. BLS) and maybe other sites. We're not responsible for their privacy practices. Check their policies if you care.
Your rights
Depending where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your data. To ask about that, email us. We'll do what we can.
Changes
We may update this page from time to time. The date at the top will change. Using the site after that means you're okay with the updated version.
